Use drumming for music therapy, the classroom or wellbeing settings

Neurological research tells us how drumming can reduce stress, boost our mood and enhance wellbeing. For those of you who use drumming in music therapy, classrooms or wellbeing settings or personal development know the benefits. Yes?

I began looking for ways to heal myself and build self-esteem and respect. I know that meditation is the key for me, where I can go deeper into silence and continue this healing work. 

I wanted to use the same principals using affirmations and drumming together to increase wellness and more meaning within the rhythms and using drumming as a meditation tool. I teach this formula in Positive Music drum circle facilitator training. The world is constantly changing and for many this can be quite frightful. One way to manage our thoughts is through meditation. I view music and meditation as one. When we play a drum or any musical instrument it brings us into the moment and quietens part of the brain that over thinks. From here we can begin to connect with our self, our feelings and positive energy within us. 

How to empower your rhythmical being
