Let’s celebrate international Earth Day and create a world that’s surrounded in peace and nourishment for all living beings. 

Have you ever experienced being in nature and felt time standstill, or a deep sense of peace that you’ve been craving, or an energy that is so nourishing? When I think about it…our Earth is absolutely amazing! I love spending time in nature, it reminds me what truly matters in my life… it gives me space to go within and helps clear the fogginess from my mind. It’s an energy that is old, yet ever youthful. 

Music Inspired by nature 

Lots of music I write is inspired by nature. From the sounds I use for each song to the tones and rhythms that reflect nature. For centuries people have either written poems, created paintings, photography, movies of nature. Why? Because of the beauty, drama and connection of nature within us. Today spend some time in nature, maybe take a cuppa with you and just sit in silence – no phone… just listen… listen deeply… 

Learn djembe meditative rhythm to connect with nature 

Isn’t it time we give back? We’ve been taking from the Earth for too long, using too many resources, She would like us to take a break for a while and give Her time to recover somewhat. 

Now we are at home we can spend this time using our thoughts, energy and creativity in a positive way to give back to Mother Earth. I wrote and recorded this song honouring Earth Day and all that it stands for. I wanted to include YOU in the process, so I made this a play-along meditative song.
