Collaboration is power

In my drum circle facilitator training, I encourage students to embrace other pitched drums and small percussion instruments to fully understand the collaboration process of drum circle music and how drumming ensembles work. 

We might have a drum that we favour and focus on just that one drum. However there is a world of drumming fun when we open up to other sounds and rhythms. When we begin to learn interaction between drum pitches and fun percussion sounds, we actually develop our creativity by learning how all these amazing rhythms and sounds interact and form drumming music ensemble. Drum circle music 

I’m constantly amazed how rhythms and sounds can change our mood within just a few minutes. Drum circles are an opportunity to share our rhythm with others and share what’s in our hearts and minds through the power of vibrational rhythm. We share a part of our self without a spoken word, yet communicating what is in our hearts - the drum never lies. 

Things are gradually opening up round the world. Where we can come together in small groups and now is the perfect time to be part of a community that embraces drumming together.
