Music is so powerful! Whether its meditation music or your favourite song back when you were young.
Music can boost our mood, make us feel better and bring lots joy. I don’t know too many other things that can do that… well maybe chocolate…?
For years it’s been researched, what listening to music does for our brain. Music depicts points in history, such as World War 1 or 2, our first relationship, time spent with family on summer holidays. For years music has been researched to find out how it affects our brain, including the benefits of drumming. Music is brought into nursing homes to help bridge communication with Alzheimer patients and their family members. Drumming circles help bridge the gap of loneliness, decrease depression and build community engagement.
About Hope from Radiant Creation
I wrote this song called Hope at a time when I had come out the other side of going through some challenging times in my life. I hope that this song brings hope, bring a sense of everything is going to be OK, no matter what you are going though.
What’s your favourite band or song?
What is your favourite music, do you have a song that gets you up dancing or singing, an album that brings back positive memories?
So maybe instead turning on the TV or jumping on social media, pop on some music – sing, dance or soak in the beautiful rhythms, sounds, harmonics and lyrics to take you to a place that creates a space for wellbeing.
