Welcome back to my sound healing drumming meditation series of Meditation in Rhythm
FREE drumming meditation video series - three
This is video three in the series and today we’re going to learn another simple djembe rhythm playing bass and tones. All these inspiring hand drum rhythms in Meditation in Rhythm workbook and play-along song can be included in drum therapy one-on-one or group sessions, music therapy, full moon ceremonies, woman’s scared drumming and anyone who facilitates wellbeing programs.
Remember that music or vibration is energy and our thoughts are energy… we are energy? When we bring an intention to our drumming, it enhances our playing and deepens our experience and connection to our self and with others. This is the power of drumming meditation… intention and tuning inwards! Music is one of those elements in the world where it brings upliftment and joy.
When we are part of the music making, such as playing along with our drum to sound healing music like Meditation in Rhythm we begin to let go of the past and future worries, and become more present. Which naturally tunes us in to our own creativity and spiritual essence.
Wow… isn’t that what we want more of? What I have experienced is how great I feel after drumming along to healing sounds and drumming with others in the drum circle. It fills me up with so much joy! That’s why I’m right here writing this post for you, to share the healing power of drumming. My wish for you is that you gain the joyful experience and upliftment too through making-music.
Uplift your vibration and release blocked energy
Sound healing and playing the drum gives us the opportunity to heal old wounds, release blocked energy, in other words drumming strengthens physical vitality and endurance, bringing in positive energy through the base chakra. When tapped into, drumming rejuvenates our sense of security, trust and self-confidence. If you’ve drummed before you know that it just makes us feel great… yes?
It’s vital to have a creative practice (especially the world we are living in at the moment) to help keep us grounded and not let emotions be pulled and pushed in all directions (watching the news doesn’t help), where thoughts of despair and hopelessness arise to take over our life and decision making.
By learning these simple yet very nurturing djembe rhythms from Meditation in Rhythm workbook you can start to implement these rhythms into your daily drumming practice and quickly gain the benefits. If you don’t have a djembe drum, no worries, these rhythms can be played on most hand drums.
So, explore the drum you have and play along. Download the high-quality sound healing song to your computer from Meditation in Rhythm package. Which means you can take this song anywhere and drum to your hearts content. By downloading the workbook and play along tracks this helps me to create more educational and healing resources for you.
