Positive Music drum circle facilitator training level one is perfect for anyone wanting to utilise fun and engaging rhythmic musical activities to support social and emotional development to empower community or personal growth for health and well-being.
Discover the power of making music as a wellness tool and retreat for an experiential half-day and one-day of music-making, exploration, connection, learning, having fun, sound-bathing and healing!
Half-Day and One-Day
Develop facilitation skills to:
- Improve your ability to lead, influence and motivate others
- Utilise the power of rhythm
- Recognise how to build rapport and trust from beginning.
Specially designed for Emerging facilitators.
Key Topics:
- Defining facilitator
- The differences between teaching, entertainer, performer, and training
- How facilitation skills can improve your ability to lead, influence and motivate individuals and groups
- The listening skills of an effective facilitator
- Building rapport and effectively communicating
- Practical facilitation skills using effective techniques and tools
In the day program you'll have demonstrations, teachings and lots of experiential learnings, so you'll have lots of opportunity to practice. There's also handouts and certificate for attending Positive Music Drum Circle Facilitation Training.
Who's the training for?
No need for any prior musical experience, just a desire to reconnect rhythmically. If you already use rhythm in your practice this is an opportunity for you to go deeper into rhythm and build knowledge for personal growth or facilitate rhythm within all kinds of groups.

Drums and healing instruments, books and CDs will be for sale on the day.
What to bring: BYO snacks/drink, paper/pen.
Instruments are provided, however you can bring your favourite acoustic instrument such as Native American flute, (string instruments), harps, guitar, drum, percussion. Pen and paper.
