I don’t think I have rhythm. Can I still attend lessons? 

Of course! Peta believes that everyone has a natural sense of rhythm. If you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm! She has helped hundreds of nervous beginners learn to drum. If you're worried about your lack of drumming experience, please contact us to discuss your concerns.

I don’t have an African djembe drum for lessons. Do you supply drums? 

No problems. Peta provides all kinds of drums in her lessons, from West African djembe drums and stick drums. 

Do I come to you for one-on-one lessons? 

Yes, Peta has a studio in Maleny (Queensland) where she conducts one-on-one private lessons. 

Do you offer online lessons?

Absolutely! Contact Peta to book a lesson online.

Do I need to book for the whole term, or can I attend only one or two lessons? 

Booking at least four lessons is highly recommended to establish a relaxed and supportive student-teacher connection. This foundation helps students feel comfortable, build confidence, and thrive as they develop their drumming skills.

Am I too old for drumming? 

Absolutely not! You’re never too old to drum. Peta loves people of levels of experience attending her djembe drumming lessons. If you have any concerns, email Peta to discuss your situation.

Do you offer teacher-training courses? 

Yes, Peta offers high quality teacher training for all levels. No musical experience is required.

If I miss a lesson, do I receive a refund? 

Sorry, there are no refunds for missed drum lessons.
