Drumming Meditation Short Course
Personalise your Sacred Drumming Space
First of all setup your drumming space. Create a space that makes you feel really good to be there. Add some flowers, maybe a photo or two, add your favourite colour cushion, a comfortable chair for when you drum. Add a table for your trinkets; it might be a candle, incense? Keep a pad and paper to write down ideas, ah-ha moments and learnings. When we use positive vibration with intention, the energy it creates begins to shift energy within us.
Ideas for more creativity
Instead of writing down your thoughts and ideas, let’s draw them - in colour. Add colour pencils/crayons and paper. This exercise isn’t about being the perfect artists - far from it. This is about letting your inner playful child come out and enjoy some time just sitting either on the floor or in the chair and having fun drawing. This exercise is remembering our inner joy.
Drumming a Healing Tool
We are energy, and at times blockages can occur to the flow of this energy, creating an imbalance and transmitting it to the physical, which manifests as illness or disease. This can be caused by a number of things, such as negative thoughts and emotional energy patterns passing through the subtle body. One way to bring balance to this energy is through sound, rhythm and music.

5 Elements of Nature
Our body is made up of 5 elements of nature Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Ether.
When we tune into these natural healing sounds our 7 chakras of the body are in balance and vibrate freely and easily eliminating blockages within the body.
Sound is vibration and when our body interacts with sound it is either in balance (in flow) or out of balance (blocked energy). Vibrations from these elements can act directly through the nervous system.
Higher frequencies generally resonate in the brain, effecting cognitive function such as thinking, and memory. Middle frequencies tend to stimulate the heart, lungs and emotions. Lower frequencies affect muscle tension and physical movement.
