Musician and Performer
Peta Minter has performed with some of Australia’s top musicians including drum-master David Jones, bassist Evripides Evripidou, Southern Son’s Jack Jones, saxophonist Fiona Burnett, West African band Zazu, just to name a few.
She is a member of David Jones’ percussion band DRUM! Their first concert was broadcast on ABC National Radio Sunday Live! program. In 2001 and 2003 DRUM! performed sell-out concerts in Japan, receiving 3 standing ovations.

Peta has appeared at many international events such as Commonwealth Games and festivals including Merimbula Jazz Festival, Moonee Ponds Festival, Boolarra Folk Festival, Maffra Harvest Festival, Moe Jazz Festival, and was invited to play at the launch of Dandenong’s new Drum Theatre.
Bands Peta has appeared with include: The Molly Maguires (Irish), Sophisticated Swing (Big Band), Marmalade (pop), Rene Jones Band (jazz), Rio Nights (cabaret), Zazu (traditional West African Ensemble), Azenu (Latin), plus many freelance work with bands and performers.
Native American Flute Meditations
Peta Minter’s flute meditation bring a sense of peace and comfort to bereaved families, wellness programs, hospitals and for those special occasions. Her heartfelt melodies provide a healing presence, lifting emotional burdens and creating a serene, nurturing environment.
She is also a composer, recording artist and educator based in Maleny on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Recording artist
Peta writes and composes relaxing music. Her first solo ambient album Radiant Creation, in collaboration with composer master musician, producer Evripides Evripidou was launched in 2017 on her birthday. Since then, Peta has released meditation album Sounds OF Peace. To listen to her resent music compositions.
