Environmental Themes
River Red Gum classroom percussion composition is part of Peta’s series of environmental themes, bringing awareness to our important Australian fauna and flora.
River red gums, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, are among the most iconic of Australia’s eucalypts. River red gums have been used by Indigenous people for canoes, bowls, shields, and other utensils. These beautiful trees can live a very long life, and can reach up to 1,000 years of age.
