Harness the power of deep breathing with sound healing 432Hz native flute
The native flute is a powerful healing instrument to play and listen to. I can only share with you and my online coaching clients what I have experienced from my time exploring the native American style flute in the past 18 months.
I believe there are musical instruments that each and every one of use are drawn to and resonate with for whatever reason. Recently over the past 18 months playing the native flute has been an instrument that I can truly call a healing instrument for me.
When I play the native American style flute I am transported, uplifted and my mind and body are in perfect harmony. I don’t think that I’m the only person who feels like this when playing the native American flute?
That’s why I encourage new students who have never played a musical instrument before to step into the world of healing sounds. Playing the native flute in this case is not about performance, it comes down to rediscovering creativity and experiencing the self as peace and positive energy.
Playing the flute is like starting to meditate. It takes time… it takes patience… it takes discipline (in a playful way) and the rewards will last a lifetime.
Through this approach we connect and listen to our heart, giving our self a voice through sound and energy. When this happens calm rises and peace fills our senses and permeates into our actions and relationships.
Have you thought about exploring a new instrument?
The wellbeing benefits of playing the native flute
Viewing music from the healing elements of music, we have the opportunity to experience deeper meaning and knowledge that comes from this teaching. Music is not just for entertainment, it is also for self-healing, connecting with the divine and self-expression.
As we know the native flute is a breath instrument, that can transport us to higher places and connect with our unique energy.
The healing benefits are overwhelming when we play the flute. Air pressure and deep breathing helps to balance the sympathetic (fight or flight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous systems. By reducing the stress response through deep breathing, we protect our immune system from the effects of chronic stress, making it stronger and more resilient.
The oxygen-rich blood that floods our brain during deep breathing while playing the native flute can sharpen our focus and enhance cognitive function. It's as if we are clearing the mental fog and creating a pathway for clarity and better decision-making.
Deep breathing when playing the flute is a fantastic pre-sleep ritual. It can calm a racing mind, lower anxiety levels, and prepare your body for a restful night's sleep.
Gift from friend with sound healing flute
As my family and I are moving house I wanted to reconnect with friend Carol to give back her Strumstick I had borrowed from her. Just last week I reconnected with Carol who loves music and sound healing. Carol and I met during one of my drum circle facilitator trainings and I really resonated with the energy and passion she has for life.
Carol intended to share the healing power of rhythm with her retirement village family – she wanted to give back to her community.
It was wonderful to spend time and listen to some of Carol's life stories, it really moved me, and I appreciated her time sharing. We all have our story…
My heart went out to Carol as she is unable to play many of her sound healing instruments due to health issues. I can identify with her as I too had my own experience of not being able to play, in 2012 that lasted for 8 years. (I'll share in detail another time).
I am still gob smacked as Carol gifted this special Earth Tone 432 Hz Bass, key of D (Aromatic Cedar). Unfortunately, Carol is unable to play this flute as its too big to play for small hands.
The idea of 432Hz being the natural tuning of the universe can be traced back to ancient civilizations. It is said that the ancient Greeks, Egyptians, and even the Vedas of India used various tunings, with 432Hz being one of them. They believed that this frequency had a special connection to the cosmos, aligning music with the natural order of the universe.
The Journey Within: Unveiling the Importance of Personal Development
Incorporating playing the native American style flute with deep breathing into our daily routine is a simple yet profoundly effective way to improve our physical and mental well-being.
It's a tool readily available to us, and its benefits are both immediate and long-lasting.
Personal development is a lifelong journey that refines our intuition, shapes our character, refines our skills, and empowers us to lead more fulfilling lives. It's a process of self-improvement that transcends the boundaries of age, occupation, and circumstances.
I too have committed to my personal development over the years, and I have gained so much from working with a personal coach, online courses and hiring a mentor to help guide me on my musical journey.
I heard someone say the other day that if you feel stuck and not being creative or learning about yourself and others than there is no growth in many aspects of your life.
